I suppose soft could mean two different things. Soft projection might be an aftershave or Eau de Cologne type fragrance. Soft could also be the note itself. Any fragrance that has that fabric softner vibe smells soft to me. Usually, it's a certain type of lavender note that reminds me of fabric softner.

Especially Dior Homme plus flankers, mainly due to the smoothness of its iris but also cocoa, vanilla notes.
Same with Endymion EDC, this time mainly due to the creamy feel of lavender, again cocoa, sage, mocha, very suavely blended together.

Original Dior Homme to me is the type of fragrance that i would describe has a 'soft' texture.

I find many aquatic fragrances as being "soft".

Perhaps powdery florals. My sotd is 1947 new look by dior. I would consider it soft

It’s like becoming a pillow or being covered by pillows of fluffy soft vanilla, lavender and sandalwood custard with a dash of liquorice and almonds.
It is incredibly alluring, almost hypnotising, and if I were ever to smell it out in the wild, I fear it would enthrall me and draw me in like soft siren song, blanketing me with calming softness and putting me in a trance.

Clean with no sharp edges. That smooth and powdery iris.

I have the current one and it’s a nice citrus fragrance but no Dior homme dna whatsoever

A fragrance with fluffy musk.
The fluffy musk soften everything. It's diffusive.
Chanel - Coromandel it has fluffy musk, it's soft.
But unfortunately it also has a linen-detergent musk, which I hate.
Anyway, it's very good.
