Default Some help rounding out my autumn/fall wardrobe...

It is summer here in Aotearoa New Zealand now, but soon autumn will be upon us. And hell, New Zealand has such variable weather that its often pretty autumnal during summer itself.

I am looking for suggestions to round out my autumn wardrobe. It currently consists of...

Fougeres - Azzaro Pour Homme, Bogue MEM, Caron Le 3e Homme
Ambers/Orientals - Guerlain Habit Rouge, Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan
    Chypres - Chanel Anteaus
Woods - LaLique Encre Noire, CDG MAN 2
Animalic/Musks - Francesca Bianchi Under My Skin

I am particularly interested in two things I am somewhat lacking in.... florals for evening wear... possibly that are slightly dark in tone... and woody/aromatic fragrances that are lean green, herbal... (I have a decant of Ormond Man which I am trialing here).

    Many thanks

For evening florals, I like Amouage Gold man, but it is controversial. Less controversial, perhaps, some classic woody florals like Arpege or Sortilege.
Seconding Yatagan for green + woody.

and woody/aromatic fragrances that are lean green, herbal... (I have a decant of Ormond Man which I am trialing here).

    Looks good to me.

Maybe a spice-based fragrance? Or how about another chypre, something like Bel Ami?

Bel Ami would certainly work if one enjoys some leather in their chypre. Other good choices would be Derby and Moschino Pour Homme.

Coriolan by .Guerlain is a very good value and wonderful masculine with excellent florals.
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.

Already a very good autumn wardrobe selection, also adding for evening florals: Ungaro II and Ungaro III, Esencia Loewe, Knize Ten, Zino Davidoff, Santos de Cartier.
While among the lean green woody herbals (possibly some of whom with a darker/evening undertone as well) Knize Forest, Francesco Smalto pour Homme, Guerlain Homme Boisee, Bogart Signature, Loewe para Hombre, Givenchy Greenergy.

    Hey Folks,

Thanks for the suggestions and feedback...

In regards to a bitter green scent... I think what I am really looking for here is a coniferous scent. I came across junior_surgeon's guide to coniferous scents (which is a great resource in this regard). I am going to try and sample a few things from his list... CDG's Hinoki & Zagorsk, Aesop’s Hwyl, and Roma Profumo's Arso.

I am also looking into some of the Rogue perfumes mentioned, their new Fougere, Bon Monsieur, & Chypre Siam particularly — as I hear good things about this house, and like the idea of real oakmoss here.

And I am thinking of swapping out Amber Sultan for LDDM.

Going to have to do some more research and sampling on the floral front...

Etro - Palais Jamais perfectly meets all your requirements.
    An awesome fragrance!
It shines especially in colder weather. It's not for the summer.
