When I tried it I got poor performance from it. Was regrettable personally.

Performance is decent for a Varvatos frag. The scent is not bad, but I find the neroli component is a bit screechy (similar to the neroli in Ferrari Bright Neroli), and it is better done in Dunhill Icon.
Compliments? It's pleasant, not a magnet though.
Yes, it's very synthetic smelling just like most of the Varvatos fragrances.
And overhyped if you ask me.
Don't get me wrong here - if you pay under 30 Euros for the big 125 ml bottles, it may be well worth the money. But don't expect too much from it.
I'd rather would buy another cheap freshie like Versace pour Homme or Bvlgari Man Extreme.
