Givenchy Gentlleman. - One of my favorite patchouli scents to wear for casual occasions. It's a patchouli that is balanced with some sweetness and animalic notes that adds a balance to a classic scent.

I'm enjoying Bois Blanc because I like woody scents and I find this Frapin to probably be among the woodiest in their house repertoire.

I actually feel that this one is more appropriate for formal rather than casual occasions casual. It has a very classic, elegant feel, but is rather skanky. The animalic were the most prominent to me when I tried it. I's like to try some vintage juice at some point since you speak so highly of it.

I love Tabac Grande because it is a rich resiny tobacco from Sultan Pasha.

Guerlain Heritage EDT - It has a nice oriental vanilla vibe to it which is not listed in the notes. Very similar in nature Egoiste. A great casual scent for the office settings. I'd own this if I didn't own Egoiste.

Creed Green Irish Tweed - Juice from a bottle of a good batch year which was 2007. These bottles were depict Green Irish Tweed as what the scent should be like as oppose to what it is now. Quality and performance is great and the scent remains full bodied for that year's juice.

Today, I am particularly enjoying the lovely scent of Valentino "Donna" EDP! (The original, not one of the flankers.)
I'm really particularly pleased to have "discovered" this one too! I'm positive I've smelled this one before lots of times, either spritzed into the air in a department store, or on some other ladies as they walked by me outside or at the mall! (I could have also mentioned this one in "smelled on the street" lol!)
Actually..this scent smells so familiar to me that I think Valentino "Donna" EDP might actually possibly be one of the most popular women's perfumes in the Toronto area!
(This or something very similar smelling to this type of scent too! I think at least a couple of other things like maybe at least one of the Miss Dior Cherie's, smells highly similar to this too.)
In any case, I'm really loving the scent of this particular perfume right now! It's a beautiful powdery rose scent, I highly recommend it to all women who love that type of scent. You should try it at least once if you haven't yet!
PS: Don't be put off by the fact that the bottle is pink! XD This perfume smells great!

Enjoying 1992 Purple Night by Les Bains Guerbois as this the latest release from the house and it's a wonderful oriental created by Ropion among my most admired perfumers.

Chanel Bois Noir - A legendary scent in men's collection from Chanel. Despite it's massive premium it's a nice spicy oriental scent. Egoiste EDT is pretty close to Bois Noir so it's not necessarily a must have for Chanel Enthusiasts.

Today, I am particularly enjoying the beautiful and delicious aroma of Valentino "Donna Acqua" EDT!
For anyone who hasn't tried it yet, it's a very beautiful perfume with a surprisingly realistic amaretto liqueur scent! It's great, I highly recommend trying it!

For me, Messe de Minuit in the original eau de cologne - and something about the dusty, musty topnotes and merest hint of warmth is really hitting the spot today. Don't know why I don't wear this more often.

Actually, I do: it's not always an easy wear, and you have to be in the mood for damp flagstones etc etc. What's slightly confusing the impressions I'm getting is the card of Une Rose that I picked up yesterday and that's on the desk next to me as I type. I had to put it in an envelope it was radiating so much - but it is wonderful.

Today particularly enjoying Para Lux not only because it is a new house I'm exploring but also because it is a nice, smoky incensy scent which I find rather appealing and pleasing.

Also posted in the "wow section", I really enjoyed rediscovering it and giving it another chance. At the time (about 7-8 months ago) I thought i was nice but not for me. That's just because I was too focus on different style.

Wore Ralph Lauren Polo today and have caught wafts of it throughout the day, on lunch I walked into Starbucks for a coffee and my nose was instantly reminded the 3 sprays from this morning are still pounding away instant gratification!

Guerlain Derby - One of the finest classic scents for men to own. A smooth chypre scent with a leather finish in the base. A timeless classic that always puts a smile on my face whenever worn.

I am doing some layering today: I was wearing Safran Troublant this morning, and in the afternoon decided to top it off with Annnick Goutal's Rose Splendide. I had a feeling these scents would match well on the powdery pink rose aspects, and I was right. Where Safran pairs a delicate pink rose with milky vanilla and saffron, Rose Splendid pairs its bright pink rose with sharpish fruitiness and a cloud of orris powder. Delightful together!

Gucci Pour Homme - After wearing Derby, I decided Gucci Pour Homme should get a wearing. It's quite close to Derby - another chypre leather scent that isn't as expensive as the latter. A great classic to have in any men's collection.

It smells like fruity paradise and is just great!

Terre d'Hermes Parfum because even on a gloomy day like this one, it's incredible smell and versatility always has a way of making me happy.

Enjoying Santal Austral because it's one of the nicest sandalwood prominent fragrances I found in a very long time, well blended and executed.

Guerlain Sous Le Vent - It's the original 1930s formulation. A wonderful chypre scent that is great from start to finish. Difficult to find and whenever found it goes for a premium. My favorite Guerlain by far.
