That's super informative! Avon used the bottom sticker if the name wasn't on the cap or bottle itself, especially for uniform bottle lines like their "Crystal Cologne" series where several feminine market scents (50's and 60's) were released in the same bottle design with matching powder and lotions etc. Also of course the billion and one decanters.

Together we can fuse and form Super Informvoltron, then blast off and save some city from a giant uninformed monster, or something.

    Vintage by dint of discontinuation.

Clean and grassy, minimalist but with noteworthy twists of grapefruit to brighten the opening and coffee to <ahem> ground the base. I'm definitely a fan, but I don't know that I'd dole out unicorn prices for it with so many other good vetivers out there. Nicely done, regardless.
This one is one of the few for a modern vetiver scent that is worth paying a premium for. Sycomore EDT would be the other. It's a solid reference to vetiver.

It really is good, but at close to $900 for 240ml, I’ll pass on a FB. Bet I’ll use up that sample, though. I have to try Sycomore EDT again—I’ve got a sample somewhere around here.

The Ted Danson mentions got me thinking about "Body Heat" too, so I watched it again last night. It really is an excellent crime thriller, and very, very erotic. Pretty much guaranteed to make you horny.

Our weather has gotten an early jump on extreme humidity and heat. Time to break out the eaux that I can just apply with a garden hose. Today it'll be:

Eau de Patou (1976) by Jean Kerleo for Patou

I really love this stuff. So refreshing, but also has a little of that French dirty/pretty thing going on.
