Continuing with the house of Guerlain today. Mitsouko EdP (from 2007, I think). It's been just over a year since I last gave this a shot. Since it's been raining for the last two days, it seemed as good a day as any to try this again; plus, I'm off today, so just knockin' about the house. Truth be told, this EdP doesn't really work for me. Not that it I dislike the scent - no not that - it's just that this would be much more appropriate for my wife (if she'd ever come around to wearing a Guerlain fragrance! But I digress....). I have sampled the Mitsouko vintage extrait version, and that's one that I can pull off - perhaps I'll be able to acquire a bottle of that one day.

I bought this a year ago for my GF's birthday. I don't think she likes as she hasn't worn it. As for me, well I'm not too crazy about either. I don't enjoy the opening and the dry down leans a bit too feminine for my tastes. I'll see if future wearings change my mind as this was my first full wearing.

I think I'll sync with the Camel today, following after Tristan. A dab of parfum with a spritz of EDT. I have a doctor appointment this afternoon, and it should be tamed down by then.

That's nice that you got a partial refund. Glad to hear you both enjoy the fragrance - I think it's a good one too!

You said it. I was thinking about finding a nicer 30ml bottle for decanting as I have two of these plastic bottles. I don't know if I'll ever get around to it, but I've been thinking about it anyway.

I got both a spray and splash glass bottle for that purpose. Amongst other things, I confirmed it’s the exact same juice. Great stuff.

Maybe not the very first bottle off the assembly line, but definitely first run because 3 ingredients, made in USA, red and white "Tommy" sticker on bottom, matte cap, and EL prod code place it in the 90's. I don't think there would be a reformulation before the 2001 IFRA rullings on oakmoss, because designers generally didn't do the million and one cost tweaks per year they do now. If you get one of these in a box, the short ingredient list is the biggest giveaway to original 90's juice.

Yes, and more "peachy". But I have to admit, that as the day has worn on, it's been kind of nice on this rainy day. I'm wondering if having this bottle sitting for a year has "improved" it for me.

This is the only version I've tried. I'm enjoying it. Soapy, mossy goodness. It's not exciting the way Balenciaga Portos was last night—that's some major dudely stank right there. But it's kinda like pulling on a cashmere Aran sweater.
