Roja Parfums Amber Oud vs Qatar

I am a big fan of Roja Parfums and probably my all time favourite perfume by this house is amber oud. I have recently been gifted a bottle of Qatar from the same house and I was wondering if it is too similar to amber oud to make it worthwhile opening it? I could always try to return it or sell it.

I would be interested to hear what the similarities between the two scents are and what are the differences, Ultimately helping me to choose whether to keep or sell.

I didnt find them that similar to be honest, besides the fact that they are both a variation of a "rose-oud". So i would say definitely worth owning both.

I don't find them very similar either, I think Kuwait is the closest to Amber Aoud from the gulf collection.

Not at all alike. Qatar is quite sweet. Nice gift btw.

They are not similar at all, I believe Qatar along with the rest of the Gulf Collection was recently discontinued.

Amber Aoud is clearly the much better crafted fragrance, but Qatar is a welcome addition.

i never had Qatar....but yes, Amber aoud is magnificent , i also have enigma britannia danger and Diaghilev
I only Roja perfums now
