I don't hate it per se and it's not gross or offensive...it is just is sort of hard for me to categorize mentally: i.e. Not sure why I would want to smell like this.

Perhaps it's a rainy day scent because it's just a tad serious and good for hanging around looking out the window. It is perhaps a bit "moody."

I would never envision wearing out on town or in an office.
I agree. The two most unsettling fragrances I've encountered, or the two that are unsettling to me in this same way, are Narciso Rodriguez and Caron Yatagan. Both are tremendous on a rainy day in that they send me to an introspective, serious, and vaguely disquieting place. I like them both a great deal, but wearing either over the course of a day at work or hiking or running errands would seem...odd.

Patrick by Fragrances of Ireland is perfect for a cold spring day, whether raining or not. Polo with it's greenness and intense presence would work great. And Zagorsk by Comme des Garcons, like being at church on a cool rainy spring morning.

    Hi all,

I (especially) like the Lalique Encre Noir suggestions as well as "Breath of God". Caron "Yatagan", SMN "Acqua di Cuba", Marlou d'ambiguite, come to mind. If really Cold/Rainy, me thinks I'd reach for my MPG "Eau des Iles" or MPG Perfum d'habit, maybe even SMN "Nostalgia" or L'Artisan "Dzing!"

    Fahrenheit and Burberry Touch.
I don’t understand. It is so vast that surpasses all understanding.Understanding is always limited. But not understanding can have no boundaries.I feel like I'm much more complete when I don't understand. Not understanding, like I say,is a gift. Not understanding, but not as a simple-minded.The good thing is to be intelligent and not understand. It's a strange blessing, like having craziness without being crazy. It is a meek disinterest,it is a stupid sweetness.
