    Default Indie perfume for winter

    Hello to everyone,

I wanted to post this in the Indie section. I'm looking for a unisex indie perfume with a masculine tendency for the winter. Naxos from the Niche category was my favorite. The higher quality of Indie perfumes attracted me, but I didn't find most of them wearable. I will be happy to receive your valuable suggestions.

Chakra Eau de Parfum by NOVA would be a perfect indie winter scent IMO.

Perhaps a good start would be to explore Tauer Perfumes by Andy Tauer. My favorite is L’Air du Desert Marocain.

Thank you for your suggestion. I checked it and I checked and saw the Rose note in the notes. The rose note seems feminine to me in almost all circumstances.

Thank you for your warm welcoming!

I tried this and it seemed too oriental to me.

Rogue Perfumery Mousse Illuminee would be good. Something a little more unisex from the same house would be Derviche, I would recommend looking at Chypre-Siam as well.

what do you consider as "wearable"? For winter, Ghaliyah Reflection is amazing (best release of 2020 imo), but might be somewhat hard to find anymore.

If you didn't find most indies wearable, then why force yourself to like one? I've tried a lot of indies and have been disappointed by the majority of them but there are a few that stick out.

Tauer is definitely a great suggestion. He's so established now I almost don't consider him indie anymore. But of course he is because he stills runs the company and makes the juice. I'm a fan of Incense Rose lately but I'm on a rose kick. Definitely try the classic LDDM.

The only other indie I really liked was Francesca Bianchi. Although she has a heavy hand and the fragrances are thick, not the kind of thing I would want to wear every day. If you like sweet resinous patchouli, Sticky Fingers is fantastic. Under My Skin is also very good but more challenging. You'll have to like animalic iris to enjoy this one.

I'm a big fan of Hendley's Bourbon EdC for the winter - it opens with fresh bergamot and transitions to a spiced vanilla. I find it very wearable, as it's light and transparent (but lasting).

Also adding LM Black Oud, if this can be considered indie as well rather than mere niche

Great option! I love the notes of vanilla in the perfume and therefore would not hesitate to choose a sweetish perfume for the winter, the notes of which are reminiscent of home warmth and fresh baked goods.
