One I enjoy is L'Ombre Des Hommes by Paul Emilien

    L'Artisan Parfumeur Tea for Two
    Phaedon Tabac Rouge
TF Tobacco Vanille gets a mention even though I like the above 2 more.

And for vintage Polo, it's a great pine-tobacco scent.

I didn't like Boclet Tobacco, Xerjoff Naxos, PdM Herod, or Mugler Pure Havane.

Tabac Rouge is a great alternative to Tobacco Vanille

Tobacco Oud would be worth looking at from the same house.

What happened to MANCERA RED TOBACCO? That seems perfect for you.

MARLY HEROD also a good one for you.
I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

Tabac by La Via del Profumo (aka Abdes Salaam Attars)
Cuba and Perfecto Fino by Czech & Speake (two very different but great tobacco notes)

Not mainly tobacco (to me) but Chergui is a gem of fragrance
If you want a more realistic approach I recently Tabac Tabou by Parfum d'Empire. Also very nicely blended (this house is great)

Tobacco Oud started my journey down the rabbit hole of Tobacco. I'd recommend any from my wardrobe.

That's not that helpful for the OP. Too much info to wade through that is, ultimately, just personal opinion that looks at first glance to be 'objective' as it's ranked and classified and so on.

I like Tobacco Oud, but prefer Tobacco Oud Intense and would recommend that one.

I would also second Phaedon's Tabac Rouge.

What kind of tobacco are you looking for?

Some people love Parfums de Marly Herod which is a soft, fruity, powdery fragrance with a subtle tobacco.

If you like realistic sweet-tobacco in a fragrance then try Vilhelm Oud Affair. If you want something rugged and stinky, try Atman Xaman by Villoresi.

If you want one of the 'classics' you should try Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and/or Serge Lutens Chergui.

If you want a rich, dense, multifaceted tobacco with other complementary notes, you should try Sandor 70s Carner Barcelona, Vilhelm Chicago High, or Michael for Men by Michael Kors.

If you want a 'sexy' tobacco you should try Xerjoff Naxos or Initio Side Effect.

If you want oriental-style tobacco, try Tom Ford Tobacco Oud and Byredo Tobacco Mandarin.

If you want a light, woody, dry tobacco then try Montabacco Ormonde Jayne and Creed Tabarome.

There are many more options on top of these - and more categories - so if you say what you're looking for, or even if you're not sure, then we can help you more specifically or hopefully that list gives you a good starting point!

When I went on my hunt for a tobacco fragrance several years ago I ended with these three being my favorite.

    #1 - Phaedon Tabac Rouge
#2 - Carolina Herrera Mystery Tobacco
    #3 - Franck Boclet Tobacco

If you like a bit of sweetness in your tobacco, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille or PDM Herod should be checked out.

    Great suggestion!

HERE is my list of tobacco frags, that might serve OP as a useful "memo card" to start with, without the need of digging into many posts and reviews. I dropped a line for each. Obviously, that list is limited to what I have tried, but on that same page, OP can find another extensive ranking by Brooks Otterlake, that might also serve as a great start.

Also adding Tabarome Millesime (for some reason considered a rather synthetic niche tobacco, but personally still enjoying this)
