    I'm celebrating 1955 this morning.

For a song: Unchained Melody. Multiple versions were topping the charts in 1955, and the Righteous Brothers did a stand out version in 1965. Norah Jones recorded a version in 2017. I just found Sam Cooke's version from 1960, a good one.

Some chords to work up a 2021 version: http://www.bettyloumusic.com/unchainedmelody.htm

For a drink, I've gone with a cup of coffee. (I've gone off tea.)

For a perfume, Chanel Pour Monsieur, released in 1955 - this "cologne" version that does so well in the early stages:

Love this idea of matching your song year to your perfume year. I'd try it, but I'm scared of the rabbithole of researching songs released in particular years. I can imagine looking up and realizing three hours have evaporated.
