    Default Some powdery fragrances

Hello everyone, Zhang Fan here with another question. I am thinking about which fragrance to buy next. I love powdery fragrances! Especially such as Guerlain L'Heure Bleue, my favorite fragrance. Here is what I am thinking about:

    Chanel No. 19 Poudre
    Dior Bois d'Argent
    Dior Dioramour
Etat Libre d'Orange Putain des Palaces
    Houbigant Iris des Champs
    Lorenzo Villoresi Teint de Neige
    Molinard Habanita
    Penhaligon's Iris Prima

I have only tried Chanel, and I like it. But I also have original Chanel No. 19. I think maybe the Lorenzo Villoresi sounds the best. But it is also the most expensive. And I found Houbigant price is very low right now. The other ones, I think the price is usual. I mean there are no discounts today. Which ones do you like? Thank you!

Since you mentioned L'Heure Bleue, have you considered Shalimar and Jicky?

Yes, I love Shalimar also. Jicky, I like more and more. But so far it is not one of my most favorites of Guerlain.

    Those are powdery fragrances?

I'm not very good at detecting powdery scents - except for two which were so powdery I thought I was applying talcum powder.

If you can find them anyhwere nowadays, check out Royal Copenhagen and Lagerfeld Jako.

    Regards,
    Renato

You have picked out some gorgeous ones there -- especially the Villoresi.

But I find your selections too feminine for me to wear (but that's my problem, I suppose)

A powdery masculine is Jaipur Homme even though, personally I find it too heavy.

+1 for Royal Copenhagen and the Lagerfeld.

    Others to try:

Jaipur by Boucheron (I prefer the EDT for its versatility but the EDP is excellent)
    Paul Sebastian Fine Cologne
    Tiffany for Men
    Tricorn by Caswell & Massey
    Dior Homme
Eau de Quinine The Crown Perfumery Co
    Orphéon by Diptyque
    Vintage Pierre Cardin Pour Monsieur
I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.

    Mother Teresa
    Currently wearing: Coriolan by Guerlain

From your list, enjoying and tending to recommend especially No. 19 Poudre.

Among other options not yet mentioned also happening to both like and also to consider worth recommending further, especially but not only:
nearly all Dior Homme flankers, Endymion EDC by Penhaligon's, Pierre Cardin Iris Sauvage, Iris by l'Erbolario, Grey Flannel
Currently wearing: Open by Roger & Gallet

Teint de Neige + the perfumes that smell like it are probably as powdery as it gets.

Thank you, there are many fragrances for me to read about. Boucheron Jaipur and Dior Homme Intense are two of my best ones! And I like Prada L'Homme too. I have tried to find l'Erbolario Iris, but I don't think it is available here.

True, that one is overly powdery. My fiancée sometimes sprayed the sample in the evening on the bed sheets
