Default Any of these worth a blind buy?

Looking for 1-2 fresh fragrances on the inexpensive side. Any of these worth a blind buy -

    Bentley Azure
    Bentley Silverlake
    Armaf Milestone
    Armaf Sillage
    Rochas L'Homme
Rochas Moustache EdT (the new release)

Also open to other suggestions. Here is my wardrobe -

A hearty rec for the only one there that I know:

Rochas Moustache Original 1949 EdT (the new release)

If you like a combination of:

    classic cologne vibe
light 80s clean green fougère notes
just a wee bit of funk when it heats up
    compliments
    some Rochas homage
a shadow of Roudnitska heritage (but just a shadow)
modern enough not to feel dated

then this is a great fragrance. I don't find it strong, but my wife does.

I generally don't like the blue/aquatic style of scent and Bentley Azure is wearable.... so I guess that says something positive to the quality of it... But I would expect anyone who has tried or owned a lot of aquatics will not find much new there either, so not a solid recommendation here....

Rochas Moustache Original 1949 EdT is great! I remember someone here saying the opening smells like cheap lemon candy but I have to disagree and I'm glad I blind bought it.

I'm a fan of Bentley Azure and wear it quite a bit when the weather is warmer. It's nothing ground-breaking but gives off a great, chilled, summery-vibe. It's got a slight 'sparkly' quality in the drydown - this aspect reminds me a little of Creed GIT - it kind of lifts off the skin and radiates.

I've also recently acquired a sample of Armaf Milestone which is basically a great Creed Millesime Imperial clone with the longevity that the current batches are reportedly missing. It smells great, plenty of the salty-watermelon scent, and lasts around 6 hours on my skin at least.

    Good luck...!

Have only tried ARMAF SILLAGE and YES, worth blind buy if you like SMW. It lasts quite nicely on me; much better than SMW.

It is NOT exact replica of SMW. It lacks some of the "edge" of opening notes-- the inky notes. Not quite as metallic. I could see where some would clearly prefer SMW.

But a very nice wear and going to be a steady reach this summer for me. Also a great price point.

I have MILESTONE on the way. I see Derbyman's praise above and which further cements that choice.

I have tried a couple of DUA clones and they are "ok-ish"- but a bit clumsy and overdone.

SILLAGE wears very nicely and has a wee bit of its own personality though clearly "inspired" by SMW. It would layer great with a bit of SMW if you like the edgy opening notes.
I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

I feel like I've been singing that song to an empty arena for two years now. Such a great fragrance, phenomenal bargain, and the most handsome bottle I've seen for at least 10 years.

I'm terrified it's going to get discontinued due to lack of sales. They do zero promotion for it, and I think some people try the EDP version and get turned off of trying the EDT.

Thank you all for your thoughts!

If I do get any I might leaning towards Moustache EdT and/or Bentley Azure - will definitely update my thoughts in this thread.

Rochas Moustache EdT is worth looking at, I strongly suggest trying it though. The original release is great.

No. There's an EDP and an EDT. They're in identical bottles, but the EDT is labelled "Original 1949".

I personally don't care for the EDP, it's too sweet.

Ahhh... thank you. I was getting confused with the 1949 reference.

I tried Milestone recently and I agree that, if you are a fan of Creed's MI, this is a good blind buy. Don't expect superb quality ingredients or to be as fresh as the real stuff. But as a good, cheaper alternative to MI, perhaps where you might want to restrict/reduce your use of (real) MI, this could be good to have to use in rotation with the real stuff.
