Second time wearing Ho Hang Club.

My reaction initially was "whoa, wait a minute, what the heck should I make of this?!". And of course, most of the time that's a good sign. I'm in love already. I like how Ho Hang Club ALMOST crosses the border into being too sweet - yet manages to smell delicious. The drydown is sublime.
    Spray less, love more.

Great notes on Ho Hang Club. I get the same reaction every time I wear it, or something like, "Wow, this is nice, but I think I might have overdone it." But no one ever thinks I've overdone it - more like they don't notice at all.

Nice detail on the edt. I was in a perfume shop in France in the late 90s and I had it narrowed down to the edt and edp of Opium Pour Homme, and went with the edp. Later, I couldn't bond with the base and moved it on. I wonder what might have been if I'd gone with the edt.

Vintage only by dint of being dead and gone -- the latest addition to my boatload of eaux this year.

Eau de Lalique (2003) by Emilie Coppermann

A dry, non-sweet citrus with a very novel note of fresh dill, which peeks in and out for almost the life of the scent, smelling fresh and herbal but surprisingly never resembling pickles. (I think it's the combination of dill + vinegar that makes the pickle association to our noses.) A little warmth in the middle from some cardamom, and a few soft, non-scratchy woods on exit. About four hours of everything I could want from a summer eau. Very charming, and great on clothing.

    EauDeLalique.ad.jpg
Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.
Just keep going. No feeling is final.

I've never smelled the Opium pour Homme EdP to compare them, but the EdT has this boozy tolu balsam thing that lasts the life of the scent.

An inexpensive and modern release of Sergio Tacchini EDT Spray - soapy, citrus, woody, mossy, herbal - great for hot summers in a freshly pressed fine Italian linen suit - now I need to smell the vintage version! Sort of reminds me of a smoother and softer Denim EDT for Men.

    SOTE:

    81B238E7-D7E6-40EA-B0F8-76A89A0A84B9.jpg

    Otto Kern - Cycle

A woody aromatic with a mint-citrus top over a funky cumin-tinged base. A bit like a freshened up Quorum, this works for me where the Puig doesn’t. Your mileage may vary.

I think you’d like it. And prices are quite sane, since almost nobody talks about Cycle or Otto Kern. (BN has 29 of Kern’s roughly 40 frags in the directory: only five have reviews.) I just got lucky that one of my “suppliers” had it while I was putting together a batch order, and research suggested I might appreciate it.
