Default Your Vintage Scent of the Day (SOTD)

Jacomo de Jacomo, Jacomo. 1980. Christian Mathieu.

This vintage version I just got today smells different from the current one: much more subtle, complex, and less 'clover in your face'.

I'll check it at the end of the day. But as far as the opening is concerned, it's great !

    I’m layering Calvin and Santos.

Calvin is stronger. These are both “cologne” versions of Calvin, but one is 1.6 ounces and one is 1.7 ounces. The 1.7-ounce bottle also has a taller sprayer and cap.

Attitude’s zippo inspired bottle designing and opening method is good. The scent is great though. Quite a unique citrusy, lavender coffee and patchouli blend and I haven’t come across anything that smells even similar.

I’ll have get my nose onto Jacomo at some point.

Not a vintage fragrance itself, but a flanker to a vintage one - does that count? (Probably too much of a stretch)

    Wimp.

It’s below 90°F (heading gradually down to the 60s) and under 40% humidity here, and I’m inside with the A/C anyway.
