Wood seems to be the underlying theme for
today's perfume choices so far so I'll join in with
    Feminite de Bois.
It will be interesting to see how this performs in the heat as
I usually wear it as a cool weather scent.

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Thursday, 29th July, 2021

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

    Good morning, everyone!

The heat here is forecasted to break tonight, hopefully with some rain. The weekend looks like it will be beautiful (fingers crossed!).

I'm wearing Journey Woman. The osmanthus and honey are especially prominent today, the saffron less so.

Knit at Nite wore this a week or two ago, and the reviews so captivated me that I blind bought a big bottle. No regrets! This is an ultra-dry citrus, no sweetness, warmed up in the middle with some cardamom, and with a flirtatious note of fresh dill that wafts in and out without ever smelling like pickles. A marvelous eau with a perfect lifespan of about 4 hours before it exits on a discreet cloud of soft woods.

Hot hot hot here again, and I am trying to summon the energy to do some housework, but all I really want to do is sit in the recliner, sip a cold drink, and read. I'm wearing Rhubarbe Ecarlate.

I understand 90,000 Wisconsin energy customers were without electricity after storms last night. Not us, happily. The radar band of red blotches covered the whole state west to east and traveled north to south. Tornado confirmed in next county over. Rain barrels were well filled and flushed.

I can feel your sense of satisfaction, Cook.bot. Nice.

Hello all! I'm wearing Sous Le Vent today. I put the big bottle in my "Time Out" box but there's an atomizer with some in my dresser. It's smelling pretty good after a year or more of no wears.
